Before implementing Digemy, what challenges were you seeing around training, onboarding, or consistency across the network?
Consistency in training standards, sales conversion rates, and general brand knowledge among coaches was always irregular. There was also a lack of adoption regarding the implementation of all our peripheral service offerings.
As the brand expanded, what risks did you want to mitigate through better learning systems?
By investing in structured learning systems, we’ve been able to mitigate risks around inconsistent product training. These systems ensure that every team member, regardless of location, is equipped with the same foundational knowledge, practical skills, and brand values. In doing so, we’ve protected both the integrity of the member experience and the long-term sustainability of our franchise network.
What made Digemy the right fit for Body20?
Digemy stood out as the right fit for Body20 because of its intelligent, mobile-first learning platform, which is perfectly aligned with the fast-paced, hands-on environment of our Studios. Our franchisees and their teams are actively engaged in running sessions, managing clients, and driving sales, which means traditional, time-intensive training models is not affective.
With Digemy, our staff can access adaptive learning modules from their phones - anytime, anywhere. The gamified learning experience makes the process engaging, turning training into a challenge to be mastered rather than a task to be completed. Points, leaderboards, and progress tracking foster healthy competition and drive consistent participation across teams.
What aspects of the platform — such as the Recap Room, gamification, or mobile-first access — have made the biggest impact on your network?
Mobile-first access and gamification have definitely been important most of our coaches are late millennials and Gen-Alphas, and so they are more inclined to quickly log in on their phones for a few minutes a day, especially since there’s a leaderboard for some friendly competition, where we give a monetary incentive to the Top 3. However, I think the recap room has made the most significant impact on the performance of the coaches – our previous platform had no means of reinforcing knowledge, so things would be quickly forgotten. The repetition has significantly reduced the fall-off of expertise.
Since rolling out Digemy, what positive changes have you observed across your franchise network?
Since the launch of the platform, there has been a noticeable improvement in sales conversion among those who engage regularly, as well as improved standards. There is also noticeably more proficiency around integrating our peripheral service offerings.
How has it influenced new franchisee onboarding, employee confidence, or brand consistency?
As mentioned, consistency in training (coaches training clients) and sales conversion has improved. In addition, new franchisees can more rapidly grasp the ins and outs of standard operating procedures, knowledge of the franchise (and Industry) and how to grow their business much faster. Thus, we have more franchisees running smoother and with higher standards of training and operations.
How do you see Digemy supporting Body20’s growth ambitions in the next 3–5 years?
The platform will be a cornerstone in supporting the brand’s growth ambitions over the next 3–5 years by delivering scalable, consistent, and high-impact training across the franchise network. As Body20 expands into new markets and brings on a new group of franchisees and Coaches, the Activate Academy ensures that every team member—regardless of location—has access to the same high-quality training. By centralizing knowledge and promoting operational excellence, Activate will enhance franchisee confidence, reduce onboarding time, and maintain the brand’s strong reputation for quality and innovation as it grows.
What advice would you give to other franchisors who are considering investing in scalable learning solutions?
Choose a platform that allows you to deliver standardised and engaging training across all locations. Prioritize content that is easy to update and track, so you can adapt quickly as your business evolves. It’s about empowering your network to grow with confidence and consistency.
